Getting ready to leave soon for the mission trip. We will be packing the vans at 6 pm on Saturday.

We had our mini mission weekend. It's sunday morning and we are wrapping things up, having breakfast, packing up our things to get ready to head to church.  We all had a good time, and got to learn more about all the kids and grow as a group.  We helped out at Mennonite Central Commitee, pulled weed at New Joy, had lunch and took a hike at the Project also we had our devotions while on the trail sitting by a stream and small waterfall.  So it's soon off to church, can't wait to spend a week with these kids in York it's going to be a fun adventure.

on friday we had a birthday party for gloria. then on sat we ate breakfast plus we tear books and weeding. we ate lunch. the we ate dinner.  and then we did our skiits and make up stories.

we did a lot of stuff on the mini missions trip but my favorite was seperating hangers from the lables. i hope that we do that stuff on the missions trip.caitlin lesher

What an awesome weekend!  Friday we went to the Denver nursing home and played some games with residents! Both the kids and the residence had a great time! The kids did an awesome job tearing books and taking tags off of hangers at the MCC! WOW, did they get a lot done!! Through out the whole weekend, it was fun to watch the kids grow closer together and work together! They are such a great group of kids and I can't wait to go to York next month!!  Miss Missy

Mini Mission Weekend

Hey its 2012 and time to get ready for a new Kidz mission trip. The Wednesday night Kidz training is complete and now we are at the Mini Mission Weekend. All the Kidz did great and have had opportunity to grow closer to God and build relationships with each other.

I know the 2012 Kidz mission trip will be a wonderful experience for everyone!
